Nadia’s approach to storytelling is lively and interactive with puppets, fingerplays, music, and songs. She carefully selects her stories to suit her young audience and brings the stories to life in a meaningful way. In her stories, Nadia integrates words and phrases in English, French, and Spanish.
In addition to multilingual storytelling, Nadia provides preschool children with the opportunity to apply their knowledge of the story read, through arts and crafts. Young children often enjoy hands-on craft making activities, which reflect the story concepts.
Nadia is a natural and animated storyteller who values education, literacy, and early language development. She holds an innate passion for languages and relating to children. Nadia is fluent in oral and written English, French, and Spanish and has extensive experience working as a language teacher. She has over twelve years of experience working with children of various ages in diverse settings where she has successfully planned and implemented activities as well as interacted positively with children and parents. Nadia has a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in French from Simon Fraser University. Nadia’s work with children has gained her an exceptional reputation of leadership, creativity, dedication and enthusiasm.
